Welcome to Winshill Medical Centre, where your health and well-being are at the heart of everything we do. Situated in the vibrant community of Winshill, we are committed to providing top-notch medical services to all our patients.
We are rated Good by CQC, and recently in the 23/24 national GP survey results received excellent feedback. Such as 98% of our patients say our reception team are good.
Since 2003, we have been providing GP services to the local people of Winshill and now are able to extend our offering to further-a-field such as Stretton and Drakelow.

Appointments
Urgent appointments
To request an urgent appointment for today or tomorrow (Monday to Friday):
- use our appointment request form, Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm. We will respond within 4 hours during opening times
- phone us on 01283 741 920, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
When you get in touch, we’ll ask what you need help with.
We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
Routine appointments
To request a routine appointment in the next 7 days:
- use our appointment request form, Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm. We will respond within 4 hours during opening times
- phone us on 01283 741 920, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6.30pm
- visit the surgery and speak with a receptionist, Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm
- use your NHS account (through the NHS website or NHS App) to book a screening test or vaccination

We will use the information you give us to choose the most suitable doctor, nurse or health professional to help you.
